Volunteers Needed - Save the Fields Campaign

As we continue to move forward with our campaign to save NTLL and NTGSL Fields, we need more volunteers.  We need help in reaching out to local sports leagues and asking for support at TUSD Board Meetings, Parks and Recreation Committee and City Countil Meetings.  We also need a Next-Door-Neighbor App Coordinator and Videographer for Save the Fields Campaign.  You can review the volunteer brochure here.

New Bat Standard and Changes For 2018

NTLL will be adhering to the new USABat standard. To identify officially-sanctioned youth bats, look for the “USA Baseball” licensing mark, located on the bat's taper.  This is a change affecting all of Little League International.

Save Our Fields - "Call to Action" Included

Our Leagues are in need of your help! This is a Call for Action!

The property that has housed the North Torrance Girls Softball and North Torrance Little Leagues at Hamilton Adult Education Campus, 2606 West 182nd Street) is in jeopardy of being sold to housing developers by the Torrance Unified School District (TUSD). For the last 30 years, we have called the Hamilton Adult Education campus our home.  We have raised generations of young athletes at this location since our opening and would like to preserve these fields for future years to come. Usable green space in North Torrance is very scarce. We are concerned that TUSD will not be able to provide comparable and safe space for our leagues.  Please help us fight to preserve these fields. We are not supportive of the district reducing green space!

What do we need your help with?

  1. Speak at a School Board Meeting
  2. Email the Hamilton ("7/11") Advisory Committee
  3. Speak at a City Council Meeting
  4. Write to TUSD and Torrance City Council
  5. Attend a Planning Commission Meeting or Write to the Planning Commission
  6. Attend a Traffic Commission Meeting or Write to the Traffic Commission
  7. Sign our E‐Petition
  8. Share Our Message on "Next‐Door Neighbor" App
  9. Share our Message on Social Media Sites
  10. Join Our “Save North Torrance Fields” Facebook Page
  11. Volunteer on the “Save Our Fields” Campaign

The Call to Action publication explains each of the above items.  Share it with all of your local family and friends to educate our community.

Thank You,
NTLL Board
